Sam Blenkinsop managed to hold off the Scottish onslaught this weekend, pulling out the win in Levin.

We don't yet have the official results but here's what I could remember: In Elite men Dodzy, on the Zero and finally wearing an outfit that didn't look like an 80s aussie cricket team followed Sam with Eddie Masters in 3rd, followed by Sizzle and Scolsy. Kurt Langcaster stomped the open men's class, looking like he should be in pro again with a super hot time. In the Elite women's class Harriet Harper was up against tough competition but after a tense wait at the finish line managed to beat the NO other competitors in her class after Rita Langley crashed out in seeding. Madeline "Madz" taylor once again showed her class, taking out the Open women's race and Leo Sandler was super stoked to win the under 15 boys class.


Mavis saw a pie cart on the side of the track, stopped for a snack and when he returned to his bike, one of the locals had stolen a few pieces of his fork and oil was pissing out everywhere so that was the end of his race run.

It's been a season for blasts from the past, we saw Des Curry rocking the new Carbon GT this weekend back in Pro again, and then there was the infamous Dan Lynch Mob Lunch Box Lynch, back in action on the shockwave (I thought all the shock waves were in museums now!)
